Our Ministry’s mission is to elaborate policies and strategies meant for the implementation of Rwanda’s foreign policy. We are strongly committed to promoting friendly and co-operational relations between Rwanda and the world concert of Nations, based on mutual interests and the respect for one another’s sovereignty, with a view to fostering peace, security and development at home and abroad. We believe in a world of harmonious social, economic and political integration, where generations of Rwandans, their regional neighbors and global humanity at large, can peacefully enjoy the benefits of security, prosperity and freedom. For this reason, we do invest a great extent of our energies and resources in regionalintegration efforts, and we actively participate in global endeavors combating terror, genocide, hunger and HIV/Aids.

We are also committed to getting the Rwandan Diaspora involved in the development of their country.
