MINAFFET- Today 12nd January 2012, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, the new designated High Commissioner of India to Rwanda with the residence in Kampala, S.N. Ray, presented copies of his credentials to Hon. Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Louise MUSHIKIWABO.

Delhi 10th January 2012, The High Commissioner of the Republic of Rwanda in India has officially launched two Honorary Consulates in the Indian states of Karnataka and Maharashtra. In a ceremony held at the Chancery of the High Commission of Rwanda in Delhi, the High Commissioner Williams Nkurunziza handed over “administrative tools” including the national flags and some policy documents of Rwanda to Mr. Prakash JAIN and Mr. Mohan Suresh , Honorary Consuls of Rwanda in, Maharashtra (Mumbai) and , Karnataka (Bangalore) respectively.

Kigali, 10 January 2012-The Government of Rwanda today welcomed the report of the experts appointed by French Judges Marc Trévidic and Nathalie Poux that identified Kanombe Military Barracks as the launch site of the missile that brought down the plane carrying former President Juvenal Habyarimana on 6 April 1994.
