All legislation of documents to be used in Rwanda or to be used abroad, as well as Apostille services have been moved to the Government online service platform: www.irembo.gov.rw under “Foreign Affairs Consular Services”.
The Power of Attorney for transfer of movable and immovable properties. The Power of Attorney on movable and immovable properties will continue to follow the usual legalization process.
In line with the Government of Rwanda’s target to digitalize all its services, Consular and Legalization services (including Apostille) are available on the official Government portal www.irembo.gov.rw under the “Foreign Affairs Consular Services”. More information and directions are provided on the platform.
Kindly contact the nearest Rwandan embassy/high commission to get assistance. They can facilitate with administrative papers requirements needed to come back home. However, they will not provide financial assistance.
