Minister of State Kaitesi Visits Kenya
Nairobi, 8 October 2026 – Minister of State Dr. Usta Kaitesi undertook a working visit to Kenya, during which she briefed High Commissioners and Ambassadors accredited to Rwanda and based in Kenya, as well as High Commissioners-Designate and Ambassadors-Designate.
The briefing provided updates on national and regional developments and highlighted opportunities to strengthen Rwanda’s cooperation with the respective countries at both bilateral and multilateral levels.
As part of her visit, Minister of State Kaitesi also toured the Naivasha Inland Container Depot (ICD) in Nakuru County, accompanied by the Minister of Infrastructure, Hon. Damien Murwanashyaka, and Rwanda’s High Commissioner to Kenya, Ernest Rwamucyo.
During the visit, she commended the Government of Kenya and the ICD’s leadership for facilitating the efficient and timely movement of goods to and from Rwanda through the Northern Corridor, underscoring the importance of reliable transport and logistics infrastructure in supporting regional trade and economic integration.
