Minister Biruta receives the CEO and Board Chair of the Africa Electronic Trade Group
On 13 August 2021, Minister Vincent Biruta received Mulualem Syoum, CEO and Board Chair of the Africa Electronic Trade Group to discuss the Host Agreement that will pave the way for establishing their continental headquarters in Rwanda. The Group has set up a platform for electronic commerce and provides advisory services to African small and medium entreprises in inter- and intra-African trade. By hosting the continental headquarters of the Group, Rwanda will be the hub of various e-initiatives launched and operated by the Group. This will contribute to job creation and knowledge transfer in ICT and other relevant fields.
