Rwanda and Ukraine Sign Agreement on Mutual Visa Exemption

New York, 23 September 2026 - On the margins of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA81), Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Olivier J.P. Nduhungirehe met with his Ukrainian counterpart, Andrii Sybiha.
The two Ministers discussed bilateral relations and ways to further strengthen cooperation between Rwanda and Ukraine. They also signed an Agreement on mutual visa exemption for holders of diplomatic passports, further facilitating official travel and strengthening bilateral ties between Rwanda and Ukraine.
