RWANDA JOINS OTHER MEMBERS OF THE COMMONWEALTH TO MARK THE COMMONWEALTH DAY 2022
Today Rwanda joined other members of the Commonwealth to mark the Commonwealth Day 2022. A flag-raising ceremony took place at the Kigali Convention Centre as a traditional part of the day and a demonstration of the connection between the member countries.
Later in the evening, Commonwealth Day 2022 celebrations continued with a panel discussion on “service and contribution of youth to building a common future”.
In his address, Minister of State Prof. Manasseh said “CHOGM22 meeting will be an opportunity to expound, deliberate and make decisions for the betterment of our nations and people, especially in designing and creating better post-pandemic socio-economic environment."
