The Government of Rwanda welcomes today’s signing of the Doha Framework for a Comprehensive Peace Agreement between the Government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and the AFC/M23. This development marks an important step on road to definitively addressing the root causes of conflict in eastern DRC, and the obstacles to peace in the Great Lakes Region.
