Cuban Vice President Salvador Valdés Mesa visits Rwanda
Kigali, 20-21 November 2023 - H.E. Salvador Valdés Mesa, Vice President of the Republic of Cuba, and his delegation visited Rwanda.
They held talks with H.E. Paul Kagame, President of the Republic of Rwanda, at Urugwiro Village. They discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Rwanda and Cuba. This visit was part of an official tour of several African countries as clarified here.
The two countries enjoy long-standing relations, especially in the sectors of education and health. The Embassy of Rwanda to Cuba is based in Ottawa, Canada, while the Embassy of Cuba to Rwanda is based in Kampala, Uganda.
