Minister Biruta joins German community to celebrate the Day of German Unity
Kigali, 26 October 2022 - Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Vincent Biruta joined the German community in Rwanda to celebrate the 32nd anniversary of the Day of German Unity and the 40th anniversary of the partnership between Rwanda and Rhineland-Palatinate.
In his remarks, Minister Biruta commended the Rwanda-Germany relations established since 1962. “Over the years, both countries’ partnership has fully grown and diversified and this can be attributed to our permanent political dialogues and regular consultations at different levels as well as the exchange of high-level and technical visits in our respective countries.” Minister Biruta said.
The cooperation between Rwanda and Germany focuses on various areas critical to the development such as economy, education, health, environment protection, social protection, governance and climate among others.
