Minister Biruta participates in DOHA FORUM 2023
Doha, 10-11 December 2023- Minister Vincent Biruta was in Doha, Qatar, to attend the 21st edition of Doha Forum, under the theme "Building Shared Futures". The forum is a platform for global dialogue on critical challenges facing the world.
He participated in a panel discussion themed “Nearshoring and Friendshoring-Changing Priorities in Global Trade,” where he highlighted various strategies adopted by Africa to overcome global increase in prices caused by the disruption of supply chain and the economic competition on the global market.
On the sidelines of Doha Forum, Minister Biruta met with H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Ahmed Attaf, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Algeria, and Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh al-Khulaifi, Qatar's Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. View photos here.
