Minister Nduhungirehe participates in official opening of Danish Embassy in Kigali
Kigali, 16 February 2026 - Minister Olivier J.P. Nduhungirehe joined Lars Løkke Rasmussen, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Denmark, for the official opening of the Danish Embassy in Rwanda.
In his remarks, he welcomed Denmark to the growing diplomatic community in Kigali and reaffirmed Rwanda’s commitment to close and productive collaboration.
The ceremony followed a working lunch hosted by Minister Nduhungirehe in honor of his Danish counterpart during his visit to Rwanda. Their discussions focused on further strengthening bilateral relations and exploring additional areas of cooperation, particularly in trade and investment.
The opening of the Danish Embassy marks a new milestone in the growing partnership between Rwanda and Denmark and reflects the shared commitment to deepen diplomatic and economic collaboration.
