Rwanda and Egypt to strengthen bilateral cooperation
Kigali, 20 December, Minister of State Kabarebe James received H.E. Nermine Mohamed El Zawahry, Ambassador-designate of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Rwanda. They discussed further strengthening cooperation between the two countries mainly in the fields of health, defense, and education.
Rwanda is represented by the Embassy in Cairo, while Egypt also has an embassy in Kigali. The two countries enjoy good long-standing bilateral relations dating in the 1970s, with the first Joint Permanent Commission established in 1989.
