Rwanda and Spain hold bilateral talks
Kigali , 10 July 2025 - Minister of State James Kabarebe held bilateral talks with Diego Martínez Belío, Secretary of State for Foreign and Global Affairs of the Kingdom of Spain.
The meeting focused on the state of bilateral cooperation and explored new avenues, including trade and investment, health, agriculture, and infrastructure.
In recent years, the relationship between Rwanda and Spain has grown with various high-level engagements. Trade relation has also experienced growth, with Rwanda exporting increasing volumes of coffee, avocados, and coconut oils, amongst other to Spain.
Rwanda and Spain enjoy diplomatic relations since 1967. Rwanda is accredited to Spain from its embassy in Paris, France. Spain is accredited to Rwanda from its embassy in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
