Rwanda and Togo deepen cooperation through a visa waiver agreement
Lomé, 16 January 2026 - Minister Olivier Nduhungirehe attended a high-level meeting on strengthening coherence and consolidating the African-led peace process in the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Great Lakes region.
On the margins of the visit, he held bilateral talks with his Togolese counterpart, Prof. Robert Dussey. The two ministers signed a visa waiver agreement for holders of all categories of passports, aimed at facilitating movement and strengthening people-to-people and economic ties between Rwanda and Togo.
