Rwanda hosts the 11th Joint Ministerial Commission Meeting between Rwanda and Djibouti
Kigali, 10 May 2023 - Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Vincent Biruta co-chaired with his counterpart Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, Djibouti’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the 1st Joint Ministerial Commission meeting between Rwanda and Djibouti.
Ahead of the Ministerial Session, Senior Officials from both countries gathered in Kigali from 8-9 May 2023. They emphasized the need to fast track implementation of signed agreements, which will strengthen the existing strong bilateral relations.
This meeting reviewed the implementation status of signed cooperation agreements and explored new areas of cooperation.
At the conclusion of the meeting, three MoUs were signed in areas of diplomatic training, agriculture and tourism.
