Rwanda to host 46th Ministerial Conference of La Francophonie in 2025

Paris, 3 October 2024 - Minister Olivier J.P. Nduhungirehe attended the 45th Ministerial Conference of La Francophonie (CMF) held on October 03 to discuss preparations for the 19th Francophonie Summit held on 4-5 October 2024.

On this occasion, the Minister announced to his peers that the 46th Ministerial Conference of La Francophonie would be held in Kigali in 2025.

“I would like to thank the Ministers of the Member States of La Francophonie, gathered in Paris for the 45th Ministerial Conference of La Francophonie (CMF), for accepting Rwanda's offer to host the 46th session of the CMF, scheduled for next year. The French-speaking family has always been very welcome in the Land of a Thousand Hills! | Minister Nduhungirehe emphasised.

The CMF meets once a year to discuss specific topics, including the participation of French-speaking states in peacekeeping operations, and the promotion of cultural and linguistic diversity.
